1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing this website or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If you're using the site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you're authorized to accept these terms for it.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to join the waitlist. The site is intended for teachers, tutors, studio owners, and parents.

3. The waitlist & founding-member offer

• Joining the waitlist adds your email to a list so we can tell you when LessonCadence launches. It does not create a paid account and does not guarantee access by any particular date.
• We describe founding-member pricing (for example, a locked-in monthly rate for the first teachers to join) as our current intention. Specific pricing, availability, and any offer are subject to change until you sign up for a paid plan under the product's launch terms, and may depend on limited availability (such as the first 500 confirmed members).
• Any counts shown on the site (such as spots claimed) reflect confirmed signups at the time they load and are provided for information only.
• We may decline or remove any signup we reasonably believe is fraudulent, automated, or abusive.

4. Acceptable use

When using this site, you agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, or someone else's information;
• use bots, scrapers, or automated means to sign up or collect data;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems;
• use the site for anything unlawful or in violation of others' rights.

5. Intellectual property

The site and its content — including the LessonCadence name, logo, text, graphics, and design — are owned by LessonCadence or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our branding without our prior written permission.

6. Your submissions & feedback

If you send us feedback, ideas, or design-partner input, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve LessonCadence, without obligation or compensation to you. Please don't send us confidential information you don't want us to use. You keep ownership of your own information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Third-party services & links

The site relies on third-party providers (such as hosting, email, analytics, and — at launch — payments) and may link to third-party sites. We're not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any launch date, feature, or pricing will be offered. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LessonCadence and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LessonCadence harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the site or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

12. Changes & termination

We may update these terms as the product develops; the "Last updated" date shows when. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the site or the waitlist at any time, and we may remove your waitlist entry as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Text messaging program

Program description. LessonCadence sends account notifications by text message (SMS) to users of the LessonCadence application who ask for them: lesson reminders, schedule changes, practice assignments, messages from a teacher, and invoice and payment notices. These are notifications about your own account — we do not send promotional or third-party marketing texts.

How you join. Text messages are off unless you turn them on. Inside the application, under Settings → Notifications, you switch on the SMS channel for the notifications you want; we then show you this disclosure, ask for the mobile number you want the messages sent to, and ask you to tick a box — never pre-ticked — agreeing to receive them at it. Your studio cannot enable text messages on your behalf — a number a teacher records for you is a contact detail, not consent. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or using LessonCadence; every notification is also available by email and in the app.

Frequency. Message frequency varies with your lesson schedule and the notification types you choose, and is typically 2–8 messages per month.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. LessonCadence does not charge you for these messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to stop text messages to that number. We will send one confirmation and then no further texts to it. You can also turn text messages off at any time under Settings → Notifications, or email hello@lessoncadence.com.

Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email hello@lessoncadence.com.

Eligibility. You must be the subscriber of, or authorized user of, the mobile number you provide, and at least 18 years old (or have a parent or guardian's consent). Tell us promptly if your number changes or is reassigned. The program supports mobile numbers in the United States and Canada.

Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device, so do not rely on text messages alone for time-critical information — the app and email remain the record.

Privacy. How we handle your mobile number, and our commitment that mobile numbers and SMS consent are never sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing, is set out in §12 of the Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
